Prasita A Strip Of 10 Capsules
Description
Prasita A capsule contains a combination of aspirin and prasugrel, which helps prevent blood clots, especially after procedures like placing a heart stent. It works by stopping platelets (tiny blood cells) from sticking together, which reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes. You can take it with or without food, but for optimal results, try to take it at the same time every day Prasita A capsule. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to aspirin or prasugrel, or if you have a history of stomach ulcers, serious bleeding, asthma triggered by painkillers, or certain blood disorders. It is also not suitable for people with severe liver or kidney problems, those under 16 years old (unless prescribed), or pregnant women in their last trimester. Some side effects may include indigestion, nosebleeds, bleeding from the stomach or urine, rashes, or small bruises on the skin.
Be cautious when taking this medicine with other drugs, especially blood thinners (like warfarin or heparin), antidepressants, certain diabetes medications, and painkillers like ibuprofen. These combinations can increase the risk of bleeding or other side effects. Alcohol, steroids, and some antibiotics may also interact with this medicine, so always let your doctor know about all the medications you are taking.
Store this medicine in a cool, dry place, keeping it out of the reach of children. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not double up. In case of an overdose, seek medical help right away. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using it. Avoid alcohol while on this medicine, as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Tell your doctor if you have asthma, high blood pressure, or any history of stomach or heart problems so they can monitor you closely during treatment.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Prasugrel Hydrochloride works by helping to prevent blood clots. It does this by stopping certain cells in your blood, called platelets, from sticking together. When platelets clump together, they can form clots that block blood flow, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes. By making platelets less sticky, prasugrel helps keep your blood flowing smoothly, especially after procedures such as placing a stent in your heart....
- Aspirin works by stopping the action of a substance in your body that helps form blood clots and causes pain and swelling. It reduces the stickiness of platelets, which are tiny blood cells that help stop bleeding, thereby making your blood less likely to clot. This helps prevent heart attacks and strokes in people at risk. Aspirin also helps relieve pain, reduce fever, and alleviate inflammation in conditions such as arthritis....
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Avoid taking aspirin with high-dose methotrexate, certain gout medications (like probenecid), or multiple painkillers like ibuprofen, as these combinations can increase side effects or reduce effectiveness....
- Using aspirin with blood thinners (like warfarin or heparin), anti-platelet drugs (like clopidogrel), or antidepressants (like SSRIs) increases the risk of bleeding.
- Aspirin can interact with medicines for diabetes, heart conditions (like digoxin), and mood disorders (like valproate or phenytoin), so doses may need adjusting or monitoring.
- Alcohol, steroids, and anti-seizure drugs can increase aspirin’s side effects, especially related to the stomach or bleeding.
- Prasugrel increases bleeding risk when taken with blood thinners, NSAIDs, or morphine, but is generally safe to use with aspirin, statins, acid-reducing medicines, and some heart medications.
