Nexito It Tablets
Description
Nexito is an antidepressant that helps manage depression. It belongs to a class of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Nexito is chemically composed of Escitalopram. Esc
italopram is an S-enantiomer of racemic citalopram, which inhibits the uptake of serotonin (thereby increasing serotonin levels in the brain). Serotonin is a natural chemical present in the brain responsible for stabilising mood. It is used to manage depression (a mood disorder) and anxiety disorders. Nexito is also used to manage insomnia (lack of sleep) secondary to panic disorders and depression. It relieves symptoms of OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). It has additionally been used to manage mood swings, fatigue, anxiety, and irritability associated with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. The dosage and the duration of the medicine should be decided by your doctor. It should be taken orally with or without food, preferably at the same time daily. The common side effects associated with Nexito are nausea, loose motions, headache, loss of appetite, sexual dysfunction (decreased libido and ejaculatory dysfunction), and lethargy. Consult your doctor in case you are a pregnant female or a nursing mother before taking medicine.
