Mucolite Drops 15ml
Mucolite 7.5 MG Description
Mucolite Drops is used to treat wet cough (cough with mucus) associated with acute sore throat and asthma in children. It helps alleviate throat irritation, clear congestion, and promote easier breathing.
Administer Mucolite Drops orally, with or without food. However, if your child experiences an upset stomach, it is advisable to give the medication with food. Treatment duration can vary from a few days to several weeks, depending on the severity of the condition.
Do not exceed the recommended dose in an attempt to achieve faster relief, as this may lead to adverse effects and worsen the condition. Common side effects include excessive salivation, altered taste, dry mouth and throat, oral numbness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion, and skin rash. These side effects typically subside as your child adjusts to the medication. If any of these symptoms persist or become bothersome, consult your child's doctor immediately.
Please provide your child's complete medical history to the doctor. This should include any previous respiratory illnesses, allergies, heart conditions, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstructions, lung issues, sinus problems, liver impairment, or kidney dysfunction. This information is essential for adjusting dosages and planning effective treatment.
Ambrodil drops also contain ambroxol.
