Laxopeg Bottle Of 119Gm Powder

Laxopeg is an unflavoured powder for children that may help with constipation by softening stools and making them easier to pass. It contains polyethylene glycol, which draws water into the stool and may support a more regular, comfortable bowel routine.

Give once daily, or use in the dose and duration advised by the child's doctor. It may be given with or without food. Mix it into a full glass of water, juice or milk, stir well, and give the drink immediately. Do not store the prepared mixture for later use.

• Contains polyethylene glycol, also called PEG.
• Retains water in the bowel through osmosis.
• Does not directly stimulate or irritate the bowel lining.

• Some children may experience gas, bloating or a slightly upset stomach.
• Severe diarrhoea, persistent stomach pain or signs of an allergic reaction may occur. Stop use and contact the child's doctor if these occur.

• Talk to the child's doctor before use if the child has a history of bowel blockages, kidney problems, liver disease or sudden changes in bowel habits.
• Do not give this product if a bowel obstruction is suspected or the child is allergic to any ingredient.
• Use in infants only after evaluation by a paediatrician.
• Tell the doctor or pharmacist if the child takes other prescription medicines, as taking oral medicines at the same time may reduce their absorption.
