Isonex 100 MG Description

Isonex 100 mg Tablet is a prescription medication that belongs to a class of medications known as antibiotics. The active ingredient present in the medication is isoniazid. Isonex 100 mg is used in t

he treatment of tuberculosis. It is typically given with other medications as a way to prevent the spread of the infection. Tuberculosis is a potentially serious infection that infects the lungs primarily, and can spread from one infected person to another through air droplets. It is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The mode of action of Isonex 100 mg is that it kills the bacteria that is responsible for the infection. It is advisable to always take Isonex 100 mg Tablet as and when prescribed by your doctor. Stopping the medication earlier can lead to the infection coming back or the treatment becoming ineffective. It can also cause the body to develop resistance to the antibiotic. Some common side effects of Isonex 100 mg are tingling and numbness of the extremities, jaundice, increased liver enzymes, dark urine, loss of appetite, fatigue, nausea, etc.
