• Dolo 650 is primarily used as an effective fever reducer for adults and children above 12 years.
• It also provides quick relief from migraines and headaches (stress-related and tension).
• In a few cases, Dolo 650 is used to treat body aches, fever, and general discomfort caused by cold and flu.
• Some doctors prescribe it to treat toothaches, minor joint discomfort, mild to moderate back pain, and soreness after immunisations.
• Dolo 650 also helps in managing period-related cramps and discomfort.
• Dolo 650 can be used for ear pain relief. However, it only treats the symptom of pain, not the underlying cause of the earache.

• It is advised not to use Dolo 650 if you have an allergy or hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of its components.
• If you are suffering from severe kidney disease, active liver disease, liver failure, or chronic or severe malnutrition.

Other General Warnings

• You have a history of liver disease, kidney disease, or heart disease.
• You have high blood pressure.
• You are taking any other medications or products that contain paracetamol.

• You are suffering from chronic malnutrition.

• For adults and children above 12 years, the recommended dosage of Dolo 650 mg is one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as required for relief from fever or pain.
• The maximum limit is 4 tablets in 24 hours, and it is essential to maintain a minimum gap of 4 hours between doses.
• Dolo 650 mg tablet should be taken with a full glass of water.
• You can take it with or without food, but taking it after meals may help prevent stomach discomfort.
• Always swallow the tablet whole; do not crush, chew, or break it.
• Avoid overuse of the recommended dose, as an overdose can cause liver damage.
• Stop taking Dolo 650 mg once your fever or pain reduces, as unnecessary use may harm the liver.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor instead of self-medicating.
• Always keep track of other medicines you are taking, since many cold and flu tablets already contain paracetamol. Combining them with Dolo 650 mg can cause an overdose.
• For safe and effective use, always take Dolo 650 mg only in the recommended dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.

• Dolo 650 tablets should be stored at room temperature, not exceeding 25 °C (77°F).
• Keep in original packaging away from light and moisture.
• Store in a dry place away from the bathroom and kitchen.

• Do not flush unused Dolo 650 mg tablets into toilets or sinks.
• Remove or black out all personal information from packaging and dispose of it.

• Wait at least 4 to 6 hours between doses. To stay safe, do not take more than four tablets in a 24-hour period without consulting your doctor first.
• For fever, do not use for more than 3 days. For pain, limit use to 5 days. If your symptoms don't improve, you must see a healthcare provider.
• Inform your doctor about all medications you take, especially blood thinners or other pain relievers. Taking Dolo 650 mg tablets with antibiotics is generally safe, but it's always best to confirm with your doctor.
• Avoid long-term use of the Dolo 650 mg tablet unless prescribed. It can lead to serious side effects like stomach bleeding or kidney problems. Regular medical check-ups are necessary for extended use.
• Never exceed the stated maximum in 24 hours, and keep to the minimum interval between doses. Paracetamol is safe within the limit and damages the liver above it, with little margin between the two.
• Check every other medicine you are taking for paracetamol. Many cold, flu, pain and combination remedies contain it under another name, and this is the most common route to an accidental overdose.
• In an overdose, there may be no symptoms at all for the first day, and by the time symptoms appear the liver damage may be advanced. Seek emergency care immediately on suspicion rather than waiting to feel unwell.
• Avoid regular alcohol while taking it, and tell your doctor if you have liver disease, are significantly underweight, malnourished or have been eating very little, as the safe limit is lower.
• For fever it is not usually continued beyond three days, and for pain beyond five, without review. Persistent fever or pain needs its cause identified.

• The effects of a single dose are designed to last for a duration of four to six hours, helping you stay comfortable before another dose may be necessary.
