Topinate 0.05 % Description
Topinate Gel 15gm is a steroid medicine containing Clobetasol as its active ingredient. It is used to treat skin conditions such as contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema. It
is meant for external use only and should be used exactly as directed by the doctor. Burning, itching and irritation of the skin at the site of application are few side effects of this medicine. Contact your doctor immediately if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens.

Uses of Topinate 0.05 %
Topinate Gel 15gm is used for infections of the skin (psoriasis, itching, eczema or dermatitis). You can also use it for symptoms such as swelling, burning sensation, redness and pain in the skin.
Contraindications of Topinate 0.05 %
- If you are allergic to Clobetasol or any other ingredients of Topinate Gel 15gm.
- If you are suffering from acne or pimples.
- Do not use it if you experience severe skin redness on and around your nose, a spotty rash around your mouth or itching around your anus or genitals.
- This medicine is not recommended for children below one year of age.
Side effects of Topinate 0.05 %
- Dry skin
- Thinning of the skin
- Hair loss
- Burning, itching and irritation of the skin at the site of application.
- If you use it for a prolonged period, it may result in weight gain, swelling of the face, lips and eyelids, sleep disturbances, mood changes or severe skin irritation.
