Petril Md is a prescription medicine used to treat and prevent anxiety and epilepsy. Anxiety is a mental illness wherein an individual experiences continuous fear, worry and instability that withhold

s them from living everyday life. Epilepsy refers to specific abnormal activity in the brain that further causes seizures. Petril Md has Clonazepam as an active ingredient. Clonazepam is a part of a group of medicines called Benzodiazepines. Clonazepam helps increase the level of certain chemicals in the brain that causes a calming effect. Thus, it helps the patient concentrate better and feels active in general. It exhibits specific side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, diarrhoea and impaired coordination. If any side effect interferes with your day to day life, kindly consult your doctor. Petril Md is taken with a doctor’s recommendation only. It shouldn’t be stopped without a doctor’s approval, as it can worsen the situation.

  • Petril Md should be taken as per the doctor’s recommendation only.
  • It is usually advised for a longer duration and is taken 2-3 times a day.
  • Take the dose according to a doctor’s recommendation and try to take it around the same time.
  • It can be taken with or without but should be taken with food, preferably to avoid stomach problems.
