Medical Description

Petril Md is a prescription medicine used to treat and prevent anxiety and epilepsy. Anxiety is a mental illness wherein an individual experiences continuous fear, worry and instability that withholds them from living everyday life. Epilepsy refers to specific abnormal activity in the brain that further causes seizures. Petril Md has Clonazepam as an active ingredient. Clonazepam is a part of a group of medicines called Benzodiazepines. Clonazepam helps increase the level of certain chemicals in the brain that causes a calming effect. Thus, it helps the patient concentrate better and feels active in general. It exhibits specific side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, diarrhoea and impaired coordination. If any side effect interferes with your day to day life, kindly consult your doctor. Petril Md is taken with a doctor’s recommendation only.
