- If you have glaucoma (a condition of the eye that can cause blindness).
- If you have myasthenia gravis(muscular disorder).

- You have any kind of visual, liver, lungs, or kidney disorder.
- You have had a blood disorder, mental health issues or other diseases.
- You or your family has had a history of substance abuse.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding a baby.
- You’re taking any vitamins or supplements along with the medication. Even if the supplement is herbal, ayurvedic or any other category.
- You need to be regular with the dose; Petril Md cannot be stopped without a doctor's recommendation.
- Not recommended for children below 18 years.
Directions for Use
- Petril Md should be taken as per the doctor’s recommendation only.
- It is usually advised for a longer duration and is taken 2-3 times a day.
- Take the dose according to a doctor’s recommendation and try to take it around the same time.
- It can be taken with or without but should be taken with food, preferably to avoid stomach problems.
- Do not stop taking the dose on your own if you start feeling better without consulting your doctor. It can worsen the situation.
- The tablet dissolves in the mouth so it can be taken without water.
- Do not touch the medicine with wet hands as it will disintegrate it.
- The tablet should not be distorted in any way by either chewing or crushing.

Interactions with other medicines
- Anti Anxiety medicines like alprazolam can increase the risk of side effects like shallow breathing and extreme drowsiness and can cause respiratory depression
- Anti Epileptic medicines like Phenytoin can decrease the efficacy of Petril Md
- Anti-tubercular medicines like rifampicin can increase the potential of side effects.
- Always inform the doctor about all the medications you are currently taking.
Interactions with food items
- Caffeine-containing products,
- Don’t consume Caffeine-containing foods or drinks like colas, coffee, teas, or chocolates while taking treatment with Petril Md tablet as these can decrease the effectiveness of the medicine.
