Moracetam Ag Tablets are used to improve memory and concentration, and slow down the degeneration of cognitive function in people who suffer from Alzheimer's disease. It is a combination of three medicines- piracetam, alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine, and ginkgo biloba. Piracetam belongs to the class of nootropics (medicines used to improve memory). It is a newly developed medicine that can decrease the rate of cognitive decline in people with Alzheimer's disease. Ginkgo biloba is a herbal supplement that improves memory and helps in the treatment of conditions like anxiety, dementia, and movement disorders caused by certain medicines.
The most common side effects of Moracetam Ag Tablet are mild stomach upset, weight gain, and abnormal movements of limbs. Most of these side effects are mild and should not bother you. However, if you develop severe side effects like bleeding disorders, allergy, and infection of vessels, you should stop taking this medicine and immediately consult a doctor.
Before taking Moracetam Ag Tablet, you should inform your doctor regarding any incidence of unusual bleeding, convulsions, or disease related to the heart.

- If you suffer from a condition called primary biliary cirrhosis. Moracetam Ag Tablet raises the cholesterol levels in these patients.
- If you suffer from renal diseases. Moracetam Ag Tablet increases the chances of electrolyte imbalance in these patients.
- Moracetam Ag Tablet should not be administered to children as its efficacy is not known.

Overdose
Taking more than the recommended dose of Moracetam Ag Tablet can cause confusion, drowsiness, and unconsciousness. You should immediately rush to a nearby emergency room in case of an overdose.
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose of the Moracetam Ag Tablet, take it as soon as you can. However, if it is time for the next dose to be taken, skip the missed dose and continue with your normal schedule. You should not take two doses of Moracetam Ag Tablet at the same time to compensate for the missed dose.
