Dibeta GB is an anti-diabetic medication used to treat high blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus. The medication is a combination of metformin and glyburide, which prevents hi

  • Diuretics, when used with Dibeta GB, can cause hyperglycemia
  • NSAIDs, when given with metformin, it increases the risk of lactic acidosis
  • Inhibitors of organic cation transporters 1, such as verapamil, may reduce the efficacy of metformin
  • Inducers of organic cation transporters 1, such as rifampicin, increase gastrointestinal absorption and the effectiveness of metformin
  • H2 antagonists and beta-blockers may lead to either potentiation or weakening of the blood-glucose-lowering effect
