Cipmox 500 capsule is used to treat various types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory tract infections, lung infections, infections of the tonsils and throat, UTIs, skin infections, etc. It is an antibiotic containing Amoxicillin as its active ingredient. Take this capsule precisely as directed by the doctor. Do not stop taking Cipmox 500 without informing your doctor.

- If you are allergic to Amoxicillin or any other ingredients of Cipmox 500 capsule
- If you have a history of any allergic reactions to Penicillins or Cephalosporins
- If you have infectious mononucleosis or glandular fever caused by the Epstein–Barr virus

- Cipmox 500 capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not stop taking this medicine on your own without consulting the doctor.
Storage and disposal
- Store Cipmox 500 below 25°C in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
- Please keep it away from children and pets.
- Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
- Discard any unused medicine properly, do not flush in the toilet or throw it into the drain.

- Medicines like Allopurinol and Probenecid (used to treat gout), Methotrexate (used to treat a certain type of cancers), medicines like Warfarin and Heparin which are also known as blood thinners or anticoagulants and other antibiotics like Tetracycline used to treat bacterial infections should be used with caution along with Cipmox 500 capsule.
