• As per CDSCO, the medicine has usage in -
• Acute and chronic anxiety
• Patients with refractory epilepsy.

• If you have myasthenia gravis.
• If you have a damaged liver.
• If you encounter sleeplessness,
• If you are in the first trimester pregnancy.
• If you have breathing problems.

Other General Warnings

• You see any skin rash.
• This medicine may cause significant skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis during the first 8 weeks of treatment. Notify your doctor right away if any symptoms appear and cease the treatment.
• You get suicidal ideation.
• Any changes in behaviour or mood should be thoroughly observed, and any such changes should be reported to the doctor right away. Depending on the clinical situation, appropriate dose modifications or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required.
• You experience withdrawal symptoms.
• If you stop using this medicine suddenly, you can experience withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal of treatment should be done gradually and under the direction of your doctor. Do not stop taking this medication without first talking to your doctor.
• You suffer from Myasthenia Gravis.
• This medicine should be used with caution in those who have myasthenia gravis because of the increased risk of muscle weakness.
• You have a liver problem.
• This medicine should be used with caution in those who have liver illness because of the increased risk of negative effects. Liver function tests must be performed on a regular basis when using this tablet. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
• You play sports.
• Athletes are advised to not indulge in certain sports while using this medicine. Archery, racing, shooting and other high-risk sports should be avoided. Sportspersons should refer to the list of medicines published by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) which are not to be taken while participating in specific sports events.

• The medication should be taken orally once or twice a day, with or without meal, as directed by your doctor.
• If you're taking this medication once a day, take it before sleep.
• Take the bigger dose at bedtime if you're taking this medication in divided doses.
• It must be completely swallowed. If you can't swallow a tablet whole, mix it with applesauce and swallow it as soon as possible.
• To wash down the medicine, you can drink water.

Interactions with other medicines

• Amitriptyline
• Cloba 5 MG Tablet may raise amitriptyline concentrations. Suitable dose adjustments are to be made based on the clinical condition or an alternate medicine should be considered.
• Ethinyl Estradiol
• The desired effect of contraceptive pills will not be achieved if these medicines are used together. A non-hormonal form of contraceptive is recommended during and 28 days after Cloba 5 MG Tablet. Appropriate dose adjustments or an alternate medicine should be considered under the doctor's supervision.
• Antihypertensives
• When combined with Cloba 5 MG Tablet, it may decrease blood pressure even further.
