ressant that belongs to the class of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI). Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest and can interfere with the daily functioning of the affected individual. Anxiety disorders include social phobia, specific phobias, generalised anxiety disorder, separation anxiety, and panic attacks. People with these disorders have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder characterised by obsessive thoughts causing repeated actions. The active ingredients in Cilapam tablets are clonazepam and escitalopram. The mode of action of Cilapam tablets is by increasing serotonin levels. Serotonin is a chemical messenger in the brain, responsible for uplifting the mood and relieving the physical symptoms of depression. This action of serotonin helps soothe the symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Directions for use of Cilapam tablets should be strictly followed. Overdose of this medicine is possible when taken with other medicines with similar actions. How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Cilapam 5 MG

- Do not abruptly stop taking Cilapam tablets; this can result in adverse effects from withdrawal, like headaches, panic attacks and sudden changes in mood.
- Take Cilapam tablets as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break or chew this tablet.
- Cilapam tablets can be taken with or without food.
- Do not take Cilapam tablets with other medications without informing your doctor.
- Do not consume this medicine if its packaging is broken.
