HMD Sugarscan Lancing Device is used with a lancet to prick the side of a fingertip and collect a drop of blood for checking blood sugar with a meter.

• Wash your hands with soap and warm water, then dry them completely.
• Remove the device cap and insert an unused lancet until it snaps into place.
• Remove the lancet cover, avoiding contact with the exposed needle, then securely replace the cap.
• Choose a lancing depth. Higher settings make a deeper prick.
• Set the device, place it firmly against the side of your fingertip, and press the release button.
• Use the blood drop with your meter for a blood sugar check.
