Omron Hem-Rml31 Type B Wide Range Cuff (M-L)

The Omron HEM-RML31 Type B Wide Range Cuff (M-L) is a soft, contoured upper-arm cuff accessory for compatible Omron blood pressure monitors. It fits upper-arm circumferences from 9 in to 17 in and is latex-free.

• Check that the hook material is on the outside of the cuff loop and that the metal D-ring will not touch your skin. If needed, pass the end furthest from the tubing through the D-ring to form a loop, keeping the smooth cloth inside.
• Remove tight-fitting clothing from the upper arm. Sit with your feet flat on the floor and rest your left arm on a table, level with your heart, with your palm facing upwards.
• Place your left arm through the cuff loop. Position the bottom of the cuff about 1/2 inch above the elbow. Place the cuff tab over the brachial artery on the inside of the arm, with the tube running down the centre of the arm in line with the middle finger.
• Secure the cloth closure and tighten the top and bottom edges evenly. The cuff should be firm but allow your index finger to fit easily between the cuff and arm.
• Relax your arm with your elbow on the table and keep the cuff level with your heart. Ensure the air tubing is not kinked.
