Description
Grazing Meadows Calci Plus is a 675 mg natural calcium supplement in capsule form. It is intended to supplement calcium intake and support bone health when food alone may not provide enough calcium. A balanced diet remains the preferred source of calcium.
Side Effects
- Constipation may occur in some people.
Precautions and Warnings
- Do not exceed the daily dose stated on the product label.
- Speak with a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Avoid calcium supplements if you have hypercalcaemia, which causes calcium to build up in the blood.
- If you take iron or zinc supplements, tetracycline antibiotics or levothyroxine, take them several hours before or after calcium.
- Adults aged 19 to 50 should keep total calcium from food, drinks and supplements within 2,500 mg a day. Adults aged 51 and older should keep the total within 2,000 mg a day.
