Dr. Odin OIR002 is a non-contact infrared thermometer for forehead, room and surface temperature readings. It gives a reading in 1 second, has a colour-changing LCD screen, and stores up to 20 previous readings. It includes batteries and a user manual.

• Read the manual before use.
• Remove the protective lens cap and press the power button.
• For forehead readings, ensure the person has been indoors and resting for at least 5 minutes.
• Clear hair, sweat and clothing away from the forehead.
• Press the mode button to select Forehead or Object mode.
• For a forehead reading, hold the probe 1 to 3 cm from the centre of the forehead, between the eyebrows. Keep it steady and perpendicular to the skin.
• Press the measurement button and hold the thermometer still for 1 to 2 seconds until it beeps and displays the reading.
