Aptamil Pepti is a food for special medical purposes for infants from birth to 12 months. Under medical supervision, it may support the dietary management of cow's milk allergy. It contains extensively hydrolysed whey protein, DHA, ARA, nucleotides, taurine, L-carnitine, vitamins, minerals and a GOS/FOS prebiotic blend. It contains milk and fish.

• Wash your hands and sterilise all feeding utensils.
• Boil 1 litre of fresh water and leave it to cool for no longer than 30 minutes.
• Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Take care to avoid scalding.
• Use the provided scoop and level the powder with a clean knife. Do not press or heap the powder.
• Add the correct measure of powder, cap the bottle and shake vigorously for 25 seconds.
• Replace the cap with a sterilised teat.
• Cool under running tap water, check the feed temperature and feed immediately.

Stools may become looser and greener in colour because of the special formulation.

• Use only under medical supervision after considering feeding options with a doctor, including breastfeeding.

• Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
• Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Never add extra scoops or anything else to the feed.
• Prepare each feed as required. Do not store prepared feeds. Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible and within 2 hours.
• Take care when using a microwave, as hot spots may occur.
• Store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate.
• Always use the provided scoop.
• Never leave your baby alone while feeding.
• Do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of feeds with your baby's teeth, as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Clean the baby's teeth after the last feed at night and ask a doctor or dentist for advice.
• This product is neither an infant milk substitute nor an infant food.

The formula is 100% whey-based and also contains DHA, ARA and nucleotides. Other ingredients include an emulsifier, uridine, cytidine, adenosine, inosine and guanosine monophosphate salts, vitamin E, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, biotin, copper sulphate, folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin B12, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin D3, vitamin B6, manganese sulphate, potassium iodide, vitamin K1 and sodium selenite.
