Nexpro 40mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Nexpro 40 MG Description
Nexpro 40 tablet treats acid reflux disease and stomach and intestinal ulcers. It also helps eradicate a bacteria called H. Pylori to reduce the risk of intestinal ulcers. Additionally, it is used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is characterised by excessive stomach acid production due to tumours in the pancreas. Nexpro 40 tablet contains esomeprazole as the active ingredient. It acts by lowering the acid production in the stomach.
Watch for foods and beverages that appear to cause acidity-related problems. Try to eat smaller and more frequent meals, eat less oily and spicy foods, avoid alcohol, and drink plenty of water. Contact your doctor or a nutritionist for more personalised dietary changes. Some other medicines that contain esomeprazole are Esogress 40mg tablet, Raciper 40mg tablet, Esmetru 40mg tablet, Neksium 40mg tablet, and Sompraz 40 tablet.
This medicine should be taken in doses and at a duration as advised by the doctor or pharmacist. It should preferably be taken on an empty stomach one hour before a meal. Do not miss any dose or take it more often than your doctor prescribes.
