Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Fp Penicillin 10 dose Inj consists of 2 main chemical ingredients, namely, Penicillin G Potassium and Procaine Penicillin. These two work on the cell walls of the bacterial cells to bring down the infection. A bacterial cell has a cell wall around itself that stores and protects all the components of the bacteria inside it. This cell wall is made of a mesh-like structure called peptidoglycans. Penicillin works on this cell wall to break it down slowly. When these walls are broken down, the amount of bacteria in the body starts to decrease. When all or a majority of these bacteria are reduced in number, the infection comes down. The person begins to feel better, and there is relief from the symptoms.
