Uses
- According to CDSCO, Fp Penicillin 10 dose Inj is used for bacterial infections like-
- Pneumonia
- Cholera
- Tetanus
- Botulism
- Meningitis
- Bubonic plague
Contraindications
- Fp Penicillin 10dose Inj should not be given if the person is suffering from any of the following conditions:
- Heart abnormalities like arrhythmia
- Allergies to Penicillin
- Liver disorders like hepatotoxicity or hepatomegaly
- Kidney diseases like urinary tract infections
- Blood clot disorders like haemophilia

- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Allergic reactions like rashes, hives
- Dizziness
- Inability to focus
- Sudden chills

- You are taking any other form of medicine, homoeopathic or herbal supplements; these can cause adverse interactions.

Interactions with other medicines
- It is not advised to take the following medicines while undergoing the course with Fp Penicillin 10 dose Inj-
- Cyclosporine - It is an immunosuppressive medicine.
- Sirolimus - It is an immunosuppressant that works on mTOR inhibitors.
- Bupropion - It is an antidepressant medicine. The side effects can increase if this medicine is taken along with Fp Penicillin 10 dose Inj.
- Digoxin - It is a medicine used in heart failure. In some cases, the interaction can lead to heart failure.
- Lopinavir - It is an antiretroviral medicine that is used to treat HIV-AIDS; interaction between the two medicines can decrease the efficiency of both medicines.
- Ketoconazole - It is an antifungal medicine that can lead to toxicity in the body.
- All of the medicines mentioned above can cause serious complications that can increase the disease's symptoms. These interactions can cause deterioration in health, causing morbidities.
