Safety Information:

Don’ts: Do not use this device with a defibrillator. Do not place the electrodes on loosened skin. Do not bathe, drink alcohol or caffeine, smoke, exercise, or eat during the test. Do not use the same electrodes on more than one person. Do not use the electrodes if the adhesion to the skin is not adequate. Avoid drinking cold water or exercising before your ECG. Drinking cold water can cause changes in the electrical patterns that the test records. Exercise can increase your heart rate and affect the test results. Do not keep the device on a bed or blanket while taking ECG. Electrostatic discharge affects the ECG.

Do’s: It is recommended to use only the chest lead provided with this package for the ECG test. Always consult your doctor in case of abnormalities. Self-treatment can lead to severe consequences. People with prior heart disorders and symptoms like shortness of breath,

palpitations, and dizziness should consult a physician/cardiologist before and after using the unit. For better electrode adhesion and oil-free skin, rub the area with an alcohol prep pad or gauze pad with benzoin tincture. Make sure the electrode conductive gel is fresh and adequately moist. A dry and reused electrode reduces the conduction. Store electrodes as instructed and do not remove them from their pouch until they are ready for use. To take ECG, you need to be relaxed and comfortably seated, under comfortable room temperature. Sit upright with your back straight. For best results, the device should be in the hanging position while taking ECG.

Validity for claiming the replacement for all the items in the package will be 10 days from the date of delivery of the product to the customer. After 10 days, only the Spandan device will be replaced and not the accessories. Validity for claiming the replacement of the Spandan device will be for 2 years from the date of delivery of the product to the customer. This warranty can be claimed only once during this period. This warranty is only valid in case the device fails to function within normal tolerances due to material or internal defects during the specified warranty period. The warranty is against manufacturing defects only, therefore repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the company, depending on whether the unit has been properly operated & handled during the warranty period, without any tampering. The warranty is void if the product is not operated according to the instructions given in the manual. The warranty does not cover the following: Cost of replacement arising because of repairs carried out by any unauthorized person. Accessories or other attachments external to the main device itself, if not explicitly warranty above. Damages result from personal use, mishandling, neglect, abuse, customer modification, or failure of the user even if, caused accidentally.
