Cipladine 5% Ointment is a topical antiseptic for first-aid skin care. It contains povidone-iodine, which may help limit the growth of harmful microbes on affected skin and support healing.

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of ointment and rub it gently over the area.
• Wash your hands well before and after applying it.
• Follow the dose and duration advised by your doctor.

• Broad-spectrum action against bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeasts and spores.
• May start acting on microbes within 30 seconds of application.
• Its microbicidal action may continue for up to 12 hours.

• Skin reactions may occur, including itching, redness or small blisters.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the ointment enters the eyes, rinse with water.
• Ask a doctor before use if you have thyroid disease or kidney problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or need to treat a large area.
• Do not use more than needed, as this may increase side effects.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if a skin reaction continues or symptoms worsen.
