Cipladine 5% Ointment is an antiseptic and disinfectant for external use. It may help limit the growth of infectious microorganisms on affected skin. It may support antiseptic care for minor wounds, cuts, small burns and abrasions, and may be used for skin preparation before or after surgery when directed by a doctor. Its antiseptic action comes from the slow release of iodine.

Use only in the amount and for the duration advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying, then gently massage the ointment into the area. Keep the affected area clean.
