Tramasure is a prescription medication. It is available in an injectable form. The active component of Tramasure is tramadol. Tramadol is used in the management of severe pain. It should be administe
red as an injection by a trained healthcare professional only. Do not self-administer this injection. Tramasure is to be administered in accordance with the guidance of your treating doctor. This medication is recommended to be used for not more than 5 days in the treatment of severe, acute pain. Tramasure Injection has tendencies to form habits/addictions. It also has potential for misuse, and hence, it is important to use this medication carefully. Inform your doctor if you have any underlying medical conditions and/or use any other medications at the time of prescription of this medicine. In case you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding, inform your doctor about the same.

Contraindications of Tramasure 100 MG
- If you have a hypersensitivity to any of the components of this injection.
- If you have known or suspected gastrointestinal obstruction, including paralytic ileus.
- If you consume alcohol regularly. Consuming alcohol while using this medication can be life-threatening, resulting in respiratory depression, coma and even death.
- It is contraindicated in patients with seizure disorders, especially those that are not adequately controlled with medications.
- It is contraindicated in patients with suicidal ideation and a history of addictions.
- It is not suitable for children under 12 years.
- It is not suitable for postoperative management in children under 18 years following tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy.
- If you have severe/acute bronchial asthma in an unmonitored setting or in the absence of resuscitative equipment.
- If you have significant respiratory depression.
- If you have been diagnosed with severe, active liver/kidney disease.
- It is not suitable for pain relief before, during, or after labour and childbirth.
- It is not suitable for pain relief in patients with head injuries.

- Do not use it if the solution is not clear, or has any suspended matter.
Interactions of Tramasure 100 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concurrent use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or use within the last 14 days is contraindicated. Examples of MAOIs include selegiline, rasagiline.
- This medicine can cause serotonin syndrome when used with other medicines that increase the level of serotonin in the brain. This condition is potentially life-threatening. Serotonergic medicines include antidepressants like sertraline, escitalopram, fluoxetine, etc....
- Tramasure Injection should not be used with other medications that are known to decrease seizure threshold.
- Tramasure Injection should not be used with medications like warfarin that prevent clotting of blood due to increased risk of bleeding.
- Tramadol should not be mixed with benzodiazepines or other CNS depressants, including alcohol, as it may result in respiratory depression, profound sedation, coma, and death.
- To prevent unwanted interactions, it is important to inform your doctor about the medications that you are taking.
