Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Mesterolone or any other ingredients of Provironum 25 mg tablet.
- If you have prostate cancer.
- If you ever had or still have liver cancer.
- If you have breast cancer (male).
- If you have high levels of calcium in your blood.

- You have diabetes.
- You have a migraine or fits.
- You have any prostate disease.
- You have difficulty passing urine.
- You have a rare condition called porphyria.

- Your doctor has told you that you have a blood disorder called polycythaemia.
- You are suffering from sleep apnoea (a condition when your breathing stops and starts while you sleep).
Directions for Use
- Provironum 25 mg tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- It is essential to take it regularly and at a fixed time.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed that dose more than that recommended.
Storage and disposal
- Store Provironum tablets in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
- Keep it away from children and pets.
- Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
- Discard unused medicine properly. Do not flush it in the toilet or throw it into the drain.

Interactions with other medicines
- You should always tell the doctor if you are taking any other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements to avoid any interaction with Provironum tablets.
- Medicines like phenobarbital or phenytoin (used in treating fits), cyclosporin (used in rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease), blood thinners like warfarin should be used with caution along with Provironum 25 mg tablets.
- Other medicines like atracurium, cisatracurium (used as a muscle relaxant), thyroxine (used to treat thyroid problems), medicines like insulin, metformin, glimepiride (used for diabetes) should also be used cautiously.
