Pari Cr 12.5 MG Description

Pari Cr 12.5 mg belongs to the class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is prescribed for treating anxiety disorders, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorders

(OCDs). The endogenous serotonin in our body is responsible for balancing our mood, feelings of wellbeing, and happiness. Reduced serotonin levels lead to depression or anxiety. Pari Cr 12.5 mg contains an active ingredient, namely, paroxetine. This inhibits the reuptake of serotonin in the presynaptic cleft, raising the level of serotonin in the synaptic cleft, thereby reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms. The effects of paroxetine typically take 4 to 6 weeks. Side effects like feeling sick or having sexual difficulties are common, but they usually subside after a couple of weeks. However, if they persist or worsen, speak to your doctor. Taking it helps you to be calm and able to deal with problems. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercising can also help improve your mood. You should not stop taking Pari Cr 12.5 mg even if you feel better until your doctor recommends it.
