  • Estimated renal creatinine < 30 mL/min

  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Patients with hypertension with blood pressure elevated above 140/90 mmHg
  • Established ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, and or cerebrovascular disease

  • Take this tablet for the dose and duration prescribed by your physician
  • Do not break, chew or crush this tablet
  • Swallow the tablet with a glass of water

Interactions of Etcom Mr 4 Strip Of 10 Tablets

Interactions with other medicines

  • Oral anticoagulants, when taken with etoricoxib, increase prothrombin time
  • Concomitant use of etoricoxib with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II antagonists may lead to deterioration of renal function in patients with compromised kidney function
  • Concomitant administration of etoricoxib with low-dose acetylsalicylic acid may result in an increased rate of gastrointestinal ulceration
  • Co-administration of cyclosporin with NSAIDs may increase the nephrotoxic effect of cyclosporin
  • NSAIDs tend to decrease the lithium excretion, thereby increasing the risk of lithium plasma toxicity
  • Concomitant use of etoricoxib with methotrexate may lead to methotrexate-related toxicity in some cases
  • Co-administration of etoricoxib with Ethinyl estradiol has shown to increase the serum concentrations of Ethinyl estradiol
