• Dolostat-SP tablet is used for the relief of pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
• It is also used to reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain after surgery.

• If you are allergic to paracetamol, aceclofenac, serratiopeptidase, or any other ingredient of Dolostat-SP tablet.
• If you have a history of allergies including asthma, skin rashes, or runny nose after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and aspirin. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
• If you have experienced severe allergic reactions in the past.
• If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers or bleeding.
• If you have any heart disease like heart failure or high blood pressure.
• If you have problems with kidney or liver function.
• If you are pregnant.

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney or liver problems.
• You have heart problems like high blood pressure or heart failure.
• You are elderly.
• You are taking medicines called diuretics (furosemide) for treating high blood pressure/fluid accumulation.
• You have gastrointestinal problems like bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation), or Crohn's disease or you notice black tarry stools.
• You have lung disorders like asthma.
• You have an autoimmune disorder called systemic lupus erythematosus.
• You are an alcoholic.
• You have disorders related to blood like clotting problems and anaemia.
• You develop skin rashes and lesions after taking this medicine.

• Dolostat-SP tablet must be consumed as a whole with a sufficient amount of water.
• Do not chew, crush or break it.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
• Take as recommended by the doctor to gain optimal benefit.

• Store Dolostat-SP tablet in a cool and dry place protected from moisture.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

How Does It Work?

• Dolostat-SP tablet contains aceclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase as its active substances.
• Aceclofenac and paracetamol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) that block the action of a chemical called cyclooxygenase. Cyclooxygenase is responsible for the formation of certain substances in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation.
• Serratiopeptidase repairs the tissues and decreases the swelling around the infected area.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines affect the way Dolostat-SP tablet works or the medicine itself reduces the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Other medicines containing paracetamol or aceclofenac must not be taken along with Dolostat-SP tablet.
• Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines for treating high blood pressure, pain, HIV, blood clots, bacterial infections, diabetes, and steroidal medicines.
• Dolostat-SP tablet must not be used for 8-12 days after taking a medicine called mifepristone.
• There is an increased risk of bleeding if this medicine is taken along with brain-related medicines.
• Dolostat SP tablet reduces the blood pressure-lowering action of anti-hypertensive medicines.
