SLC Acne Gel is an external-use gel containing salicylic acid 2% w/w. It may help loosen dead skin cells, unclog pores and reduce excess oil. It may also help soften rough, thickened skin.

Wash your hands before use. Apply a thin layer only to the affected skin area, following your doctor's instructions on dose and duration. Avoid the eyes and eyelids. For external use only.

• Uses keratolytic action to loosen dead skin cells from the skin surface.

• Skin redness or dryness may occur.
• Peeling, burning or stinging at the application site may occur.
• Rarely, loss of skin colour or scarring at the application site may occur.
• Stop use and contact your doctor if you have excessive burning, stinging or peeling, severe swelling, or spreading redness.

• Do not use if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any ingredient in the gel.
• Do not apply to skin with active inflammation, dermatitis, infection, acute viral infection, malignancy or tanning.
• Avoid applying to broken skin, open wounds, birthmarks, moles or hairy warts unless your doctor advises it.
• Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have kidney problems, diabetes or poor blood circulation, or are scheduled for surgery.
• When breastfeeding, avoid applying the gel to areas that may come into direct contact with an infant's skin.
• Children aged 1 to 15 years and adults above 65 years should consult a doctor before use.
• Tell your doctor about medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements you use. Avoid abrasive skin products, alcohol-based cleansers and other peeling agents on the same area.
• Keep out of reach of children and store at room temperature.
• If swallowed or applied in excess, contact a doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital.
