Repatag 2 Mg Tablets

Ikon Repatag 2 mg Tablet contains repaglinide. It may help lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin after meals. It is generally prescribed when diet and exercise, or other medicines, have not provided enough support for blood sugar management.

• Take the dose and continue for the duration advised by your doctor.
• Take the tablet before meals on an empty stomach.
• Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Use it regularly at the same time each day.

• Hypoglycaemia, or low blood sugar.
• Abdominal pain.
• Nausea.
• Diarrhoea.
• Sinus inflammation.
• Joint or back pain.
• Upper respiratory tract infection.
• Headache.

• Do not stop use unless your doctor recommends it.
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease or problems affecting your heart or pancreas.
• Speak with your doctor if you drink a lot of alcohol.
• Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Tell your doctor about every medicine you take because some medicines may interfere with Repatag.
• Keep sugar or glucose candy with you in case your blood sugar falls too low.
• Kidney function and blood glucose tests may be needed during use.
• Continue the diet and exercise plan recommended by your doctor.
