Ans: You must be aware that many antacids contain calcium. If you take too much or take them for longer than directed, you could get an overdose of calcium which can cause nausea. It is advised to check with your doctor regarding the amount of antacid you must consume.
Q3. How does the product work to reduce acidity?
Ans: Polycrol Xpress relief neutralizes the acid content in the stomach and gives relief from the burning sensation. It forms a salt with acid and reduces the acidity in the stomach. It forms magnesium chloride salt and water. Aluminium hydroxide increases the pH in the stomach. The acid present in the stomach is hydrochloric acid and Aluminum hydroxide reacts with this acid and forms salt and water. Thus the acidity is reduced.
