Muout Oral Solution 200Ml

Muout Unflavoured Oral Solution contains polyethylene glycol 3350, an osmotic laxative. It may help manage constipation by drawing water into the intestines, which may soften stools and make bowel movements easier.

• Children aged 2 to 6 years: Take 12.5 ml diluted in 50 ml of water daily.
• Children aged 7 to 11 years: Take 25 ml diluted in 100 ml of water daily.
• Adults, adolescents and older people: Take 25 ml diluted in 100 ml of water 1 to 3 times daily in divided doses, based on individual response.
• For extended use: Take 1 to 2 daily doses of 25 ml diluted in 100 ml of water, or use as prescribed by a doctor.

• Possible side effects include nausea, loose stools, diarrhoea, gas, bloating, and stomach pain or cramps.

• Read the label carefully and do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Drink enough water while using this medicine.
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Ask a doctor before use if you have a bowel blockage, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, dehydration, blood in the stools, or sudden severe stomach pain.
• Tell your doctor about allergies, long-term bowel problems, and all medicines or supplements you take.
• Children should use only doctor-prescribed doses. Do not use other laxatives unless a doctor advises it.
• Do not use for more than a week unless a doctor advises. Long-term use may require checks of body salts called electrolytes.
• Stop use and seek medical help promptly if you have severe stomach pain, blood in the stools, signs of dehydration, trouble breathing, or swelling from an allergic reaction.
• Store in a cool, dry place at 25 °C. Keep away from direct sunlight and strong-smelling substances. Keep out of reach of children.
