Dasamoolam
The Dasamoolam are the ten (Dasa) very potent roots (Moolam) that are as follows:
Bilva (Aegle marmelos)
o The Bael or Bilva tree
o It balances all the three Doshas
o By balancing Pitta Dosha it relieves ulcers, inflammations and Pitta related fevers in Ayurvedic medicine.
Syonaka (Oroxylum indicum)
o This herb has anti-inflammatory and pain relief properties which makes it good for Ayurvedic medicine for cough and cold
Gambhari (Gmelina arbora)
o It is a general Ayurvedic tonic for relief from weakness
o It relieves Vata and Pitta Dosha imbalances
Patala (Stereospermum suaveolens)
o It has diuretic, cardiac tonic and anti-inflammatory properties
o It balances the three Doshas
o It is used in Ayurvedic medicine in blood-related problems
Agnimantha (Premna integrifolia)
o It has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties as per traditional medicine
