Insupen Pro Device 1

Insupen Pro is a reusable insulin pen for administering insulin from compatible 100 IU/mL preparations. It delivers doses from 1 unit (0.01 mL) to 60 units (0.60 mL) in 1-unit (0.01 mL) steps. It is for single-patient use.

Remove the pen cap and detach the cartridge holder by twisting it. Hold the pen body and gently push the plunger rod fully back into the injection mechanism. Insert a compatible insulin cartridge and attach a new sterile needle. Set the prescribed dose by rotating the dial. For a new cartridge, hold the pen with the needle pointing up, tap the cartridge holder gently to raise air bubbles, then press the dose button until the dose window shows 0. Priming is complete when 2 to 3 drops of insulin appear at the needle tip. If needed, repeat this step up to five times. Insert the needle under the skin at the appropriate injection site and press the button to administer insulin. Change the needle after each use and alternate injection sites.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. The storage temperature limit is 2°C to 40°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the pen after its expiry date or more than 3 years from the date of purchase.
