Infant Mask 1

Cipla Infant Mask 1 is designed for infants and young children to breathe in inhaled bronchodilator or anti-inflammatory medicine through a metered-dose inhaler and Cipla spacer. Its snug fit and exhalation vent may support comfortable breathing during use.

• Attach the mask to the spacer and make sure both parts are clean.
• Remove the inhaler mouthpiece cap and shake the inhaler well.
• Place the inhaler into the other end of the spacer.
• Press the inhaler to release a dose into the spacer and check that the dose has been released.
• Hold the mask over the infant's mouth and nose, with the exhalation vent over the nose.
• Let the infant breathe normally through the mask for 60 seconds.
• If another dose is needed, wait 1 minute, shake the inhaler, and repeat the steps.
• Remove the mask from the spacer after use. Clean it weekly with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry completely.

Skin irritation around the mask area may occur.

• Do not expose the mask or spacer to excessive heat, hot water, or direct heat.
• Do not insert cloth or other objects into the mask.
• Store it in the protective container, safely away from children.
• Replace the mask every 6 months.

Unlike a regular inhaler mouthpiece, this mask lets an infant breathe normally through the mask. Its smaller face piece is designed for an infant's face and it is intended for use with Cipla spacers.
