Medical Description
Candid Mouth paint is a topical anti-fungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of the oral cavity (oral thrush) also known as oral candidiasis. It contains clotrimazole as its active ingredient.
Oral candidiasis is caused by yeast (a type of fungus). It is characterised by white patches on the inner cheeks, tongue, roof of the mouth, and throat. It may also cause redness or soreness and pain. Candid Mouth paint helps relieve discomfort in the mouth due to fungal infection.
Candid Mouth Paint is meant for topical application and should not be swallowed. It should be applied in a dose and for the duration as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after applying this paint. It is advised to avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after applying the Candid Mouth paint.
