Spear Oint 30Gm

Spear Ointment is an anorectal ointment containing cinchocaine hydrochloride and policresulen. It may help relieve local pain, itching and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids (piles) and anal fissures.

Use the dosage and timing advised by your doctor. Apply Spear Ointment to the affected area using the applicator. Wash your hands before and after use. Clean and dry the applicator after each use.

• Temporary stinging may occur very occasionally.
• Skin rash may occur very occasionally.
• Skin sagging may occur very occasionally.

• Do not use if you are allergic to cinchocaine, policresulen, similar local anaesthetics or any ingredient.
• Tell your doctor about your medical history and current medicines before use.
• Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Avoid use if you have a systemic infection.
• Do not use for longer than advised by your doctor.
• Avoid using other rectal medicines, creams or ointments at the same time unless advised by your doctor.
• Keep away from the eyes, nose and mouth. Rinse well with cool water if accidental contact occurs.
• Stop use and speak to your doctor if symptoms become worse or do not improve.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• If swallowed accidentally or used in excess, seek immediate medical attention.

• Cinchocaine hydrochloride: A local numbing agent that may help reduce pain, itching and unpleasant sensations.
• Policresulen: An astringent and antiseptic that may help tighten tissues, reduce secretions and limit minor bleeding.

• May be used for haemorrhoids (piles), including internal and external piles, when advised by a doctor.
• May be used for anal fissures, which are small tears in the lining of the anus.
• May help with anal itching, irritation and inflammation in the rectal area.

• May help ease pain and itching by temporarily numbing the application area.
• Reduced local discomfort may make sitting, walking and passing stools more comfortable.
