Similac Advance Stage 1 is a powdered infant milk substitute for babies up to 6 months of age. It contains essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, nucleotides, taurine and L-carnitine. Mother's milk is best for your baby.

• Use boiled and cooled water to prepare the formula.
• Use only the scoop enclosed in the box to measure the powder.
• For standard reconstitution, add 131.6 g of powder and bring the mixture up to 1 L with water.
• For a standard serving, add 1 level scoop, about 4.4 g, to about 30 mL of water.
• Ask your baby's doctor how much your baby should consume.
• Once feeding begins, use the prepared feed within 1 hour or discard it.

• Whole milk powder, lactose, maltodextrin, whey protein concentrate and butter oil.
• Edible vegetable oils: soy oil, high oleic sunflower oil and coconut oil.
• Vitamins: vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin C, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, vitamin B12, niacin, pantothenic acid and biotin.
• Minerals: sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium and iodine.

• Discard leftover prepared formula to help reduce the risk of infection.
• After opening the sealed foil pouch, use the contents within 2 weeks.
• Keep the powder in its foil pouch. Place the pouch in a clean, airtight container and store in a cool, dry and hygienic place. Do not refrigerate.
• Fold the foil pouch after every use to reduce powder exposure to the environment.

Similac Advance Stage 1 is formulated for babies up to 6 months. Similac Advance Stage 2 is formulated for growing infants over 6 months. Infants above 6 months should receive supplemental food in addition to formula; ask a doctor for advice.
