Pernex Ac 2.5% Gel 20Gm

Pernex AC 2.5% Gel is an external-use gel containing benzoyl peroxide 2.5% w/w. It may help manage acne-prone skin with pimples, blackheads and whiteheads by reducing acne-causing bacteria and loosening dead skin cells that block pores. It may be used on affected skin on the face, back and chest.

Use the dose and duration advised by your doctor or stated in the leaflet. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying it unless your hands are the affected area. Do not apply it more often than prescribed. If you miss an application, apply it when you remember.

• Benzoyl peroxide releases oxygen into the skin.

• Dry skin, peeling, itching, stinging or redness may occur.
• Skin irritation or a burning sensation at the application site may occur.
• Skin rash or swelling of the face may occur.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, mouth, nose, mucous membranes, and open or damaged skin.
• Do not use if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or this product.
• Do not use on dry, eczematous or sunburnt skin.
• Limit sunlight and UV exposure during use, as the skin may become more sensitive to sunlight.
• Avoid contact with hair and fabrics, as the gel may bleach them.
• Not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
• Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• If irritation continues, stop use and consult your doctor. Seek immediate medical attention for a rash, hives, or swelling of the face, lips or tongue.
• Store at 10 °C to 25 °C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
