Mersilk 1 Nw 5062

Mersilk 1 NW 5062 is a non-absorbable, braided silk surgical suture. It has a USP 1, 76 cm thread and a 60 mm, 3/8 circle cutting needle. The suture is beeswax-coated and radiation sterilised, and may be used for soft tissue approximation or ligation during intended surgical procedures.

• May be used to tie off tissue during ligation.
• May be used in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.

• May support holding soft tissue edges together or tying off tissue during the intended procedure.
• Its prolonged tensile strength retention for 3 months may support the required suture hold.
