Livogen Iron Tonic is an alcohol-free, mixed fruit flavour oral solution for adults and children aged 2 years and above. Its formula contains iron, folic acid, B-complex vitamins, zinc, L-lysine and protein hydrolysate to support blood health, energy and nutritional needs.

Shake well before use.

• Adults: Take 15 ml once daily for 2 to 3 months, or follow the dose and duration given by your doctor.
• Children aged 2 to 6 years: Take 2.5 ml once daily.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: Take 5 ml once daily.
• Children aged 13 to 16 years: Take 7.5 ml once daily.

Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation and stomach upset. If any side effect occurs, stop use and consult your doctor.

• Ferric ammonium citrate, equivalent to elemental iron 32 mg per 15 ml: may support haemoglobin production and normal blood function.
• Protein hydrolysate liquid 20% (w/v), 1 g per 15 ml: may provide supplemental nutrition for tissue maintenance.
• L-lysine hydrochloride 50 mg per 15 ml: may support protein synthesis, muscle maintenance and collagen formation.
• Nicotinamide 45 mg per 15 ml: forms part of the B-complex blend and may support normal energy metabolism.
• D-panthenol 5 mg per 15 ml: is included as part of the B-complex nutritional formula.
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride 1.5 mg per 15 ml: may support normal energy release from food.
• Folic acid 1 mg per 15 ml: may support red blood cell formation and cellular function.
• Cyanocobalamin 7.5 mcg per 15 ml: may support red blood cell formation and normal energy release from food.
• Zinc sulphate monohydrate 44 mg per 15 ml, equivalent to elemental zinc 16 mg: may support immune function, protein synthesis and healthy hair and skin.
• Other ingredients: flavoured syrupy base and caramel USP colour. Contains casein from milk.
