Dulcoflex 5 mg Tablet is a stimulant laxative that may help with constipation and difficult or infrequent bowel movements. It contains Bisacodyl I.P. 5 mg, which increases movement in the intestines and supports easier passage of stool. When taken at bedtime, it may provide relief in 6 to 8 hours. A doctor may also recommend it to help empty the intestines before certain surgeries, examinations, or treatments.

• Adults are generally advised to take 1 to 2 tablets at bedtime. Follow the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
• Start with the lowest dose and increase it only if needed. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
• Swallow the tablet whole with sufficient water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Take it on an empty stomach and avoid dairy products at the same time.
• Do not use it for longer than recommended unless your doctor advises you to.

Drinking plenty of fluids, exercising regularly, and eating fibre-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and cereals may also help with constipation.
