Bravecto 250 mg is a chewable prescription tablet for dogs weighing 4.5 to 10 kg. It contains fluralaner, which may help kill ticks and fleas after they bite the dog. One tablet may provide tick and flea protection for up to 12 weeks. It is for animal use only.

• Give 1 whole tablet to a dog weighing 4.5 to 10 kg once every 12 weeks.
• Administer it with food or around feeding time.
• Watch the dog to make sure the tablet has been swallowed.
• Do not split or halve the tablet.
• If the dog vomits within 1 hour, contact a veterinary doctor before giving another tablet.
• If a dose is late, give it when remembered and count 12 weeks from the new dosing date. Do not give an extra tablet early.

Possible side effects include vomiting, reduced appetite, diarrhoea, lethargy, increased thirst and flatulence. Neurological reactions have also been reported, including muscle tremors, loss of coordination and seizures. Contact a veterinary doctor if any reaction persists or worsens.
