- Tranexa tablet is used to reduce heavy bleeding during periods and bleeding from the nose known as epistaxis.
- It is used to reduce abnormal blood loss during or after a surgical procedure and to control internal bleeding in the body due to abnormal blood clotting mechanisms.
- Tranexa tablet is used during and after tooth extractions in patients suffering from a bleeding disorder called haemophilia.
Contraindications of Tranexa 250 MG
- If you are allergic to tranexamic acid or any other ingredient of Tranexa tablet.
- If you have kidney disease.
- If you have a history of seizures/fits.
- If you have or had a blood clot in your blood vessels.
- If you are at risk of excessive bleeding due to a bleeding disorder called consumption coagulopathy.
