Pregnancy

If you use this syrup while pregnant, your child could develop an addiction. If this syrup is consumed during pregnancy, it may cause withdrawal symptoms after the baby is born. For several weeks, babies born addicted to a habit-forming substance may require medical attention.
Breast Feeding

Can I take Mucocil syrup while breastfeeding?
A:
Mucocil syrup residues can pass into breast milk in trace amounts, causing side effects in breastfed babies. As a result, nursing is not advised. The contents of this syrup can enter a breastfeeding baby's milk and cause sleepiness.
Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Mucocil Syrup?
A:
You may notice a decrease in your attentiveness when using Mucocil syrup. If you consume Mucocil syrup, you can feel sleepy, dizzy, or have vision problems. As a result, driving should be avoided while taking this suspension.
Alcohol

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin are the three medications in Mucocil LS Syrup that cure cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic, which means it thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) to help with coughing. Levosalbutamol, a bronchodilator, is used to open up the airways. It works by relaxing and expanding the airway muscles. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that works by lowering the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) in the airways. When taken together, they make breathing easier....
Directions for Use
- Read all recommendations and guidelines on your Mucocil syrup bottle carefully.
- The frequency of dose of Mucocil syrup administration will be determined by the doctor.
- Before measuring a dose of Mucocil syrup, give the oral suspension (liquid) a good shake.
- Carefully measure liquid medicine in a measuring cup.
- Never administer this medication to a person who has a history of medicine abuse or addiction.

Antifungal medications with Mucocil syrup lowers the action of antifungal medication.
Antihypertensive medications with Mucocil syrup, by fluctuating blood pressure levels.

Missed a Dose
