Torque Hemofort Syrup contains iron and folic acid to support healthy red blood cell formation. Iron is needed to make haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the blood. Folic acid, or vitamin B9, supports DNA synthesis and cell division. The syrup may help with nutritional iron and folic acid deficiency, including when needs increase during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or recovery.

Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed amount with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. It may be taken with or without food, although taking it with food may reduce stomach upset. Follow the dose and duration advised by your doctor and complete the prescribed course. If you miss a dose, take the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose. Avoid taking it with milk, eggs, or calcium-rich foods because they may reduce iron absorption.

• Abdominal pain, stomach upset, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhoea may occur.
• Iron may turn stools dark green or black. This is harmless.
