Hicks Round Blood Sterile Lancets

Hicks Round Blood Sterile Lancets are sterile, single-use devices made of surgical stainless steel. They create a small skin puncture to collect a capillary blood sample, mainly for blood glucose testing and other diagnostic tests.

Wash your hands. Insert the lancet into a compatible lancing device and remove the protective cap. Clean the puncture site, usually a fingertip. Place the device against the skin and press its button to collect the blood sample. Apply the blood drop to the test strip, then place the used lancet in a puncture-resistant sharps container.

• Use each lancet only once. Do not reuse, share or resterilise it.
