Cipladine 5% Oint 250Gm

Cipladine 5% Ointment is a topical antiseptic for external use. It may be used for antiseptic care of minor cuts and wounds.

Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount uniformly to the skin, then cover it with a dressing or bandage. Follow the label instructions. If you miss an application, apply it when you remember unless it is nearly time for the next application. Do not apply a double amount.

• 5% topical antiseptic for external use.

• Burning sensation, redness or irritation at the application site.
• Skin rash, hives or severe itching.
• Allergic reactions such as itching or swelling of the face, tongue or throat, severe dizziness, or breathing difficulty.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and nose. Rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
• Avoid use if you are allergic to this ointment.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if you develop a skin rash, hives or severe itching.
• Consult a doctor if burning, redness or irritation does not settle or gets worse.
• Avoid prolonged use over a large area.
• Do not use on deep wounds, large areas of broken skin or severe burns.
• If you have thyroid problems, consult a doctor before use.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use.
• Tell your doctor about any medicines you take before use.
• Seek emergency medical help if accidentally swallowed or if severe allergic symptoms occur.
