Description
Brio B Eye Drop is a prescription eye medicine containing brimonidine and brinzolamide. It may help lower raised pressure inside the eye by reducing fluid production and improving fluid drainage. Use it only in the affected eye, in the dose and for the duration advised by your doctor.
How to Use
- Wash your hands before use.
- Use the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
- Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Hold the dropper close to the affected eye without touching the eye, eyelid or any other surface.
- Place the prescribed drops inside the lower eyelid.
- Close your eyes and gently press the inner corner of the eye with a finger for about 1 minute.
- Wipe away extra liquid and replace the cap tightly.
- Leave at least 5 minutes before using another eye drop or eye ointment.
- Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back.

Side Effects
Common side effects may include:
- Eye redness, itching, irritation, inflammation, pain or discomfort
- Temporary blurred vision

Stop use and contact a doctor immediately if you develop a severe allergic reaction, including swelling of the eyes, eyelids, face, lips, tongue, hands or throat, or difficulty breathing.
Precautions and Warnings
- For use in the eyes only.
- Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelid or any other surface, as this may contaminate it.
- Do not drive or operate machinery until blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness has passed.
- Avoid alcohol because it may increase dizziness and drowsiness.
- Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, low or high blood pressure, narrow-angle glaucoma, dry eyes, cornea problems, depression or poor blood circulation.
- Do not use if you have severe kidney problems unless your doctor advises otherwise.
- Tell your doctor if you are allergic to brimonidine, brinzolamide, sulphonamides or diuretics.
- Tell your doctor about central nervous system depressants, heart medicines and other eye medicines you use.
- It is not recommended for children below 18 years because its safety and effectiveness have not been established.
- Do not stop use without consulting your doctor, as eye pressure may rise again.
Ingredients
- Brimonidine 0.2% w/v: may reduce fluid production and improve fluid drainage inside the eye.
- Brinzolamide 1% w/v: may reduce the production of aqueous humour, the clear fluid inside the eye.

- Adults with open-angle glaucoma may use it to manage raised pressure inside the eye.
