Wokadine 10% Solu 100Ml

Wokadine 10% Skin Solution is a povidone-iodine antiseptic for external use. It may help reduce microorganisms on the skin before or after surgery, injury, or topical wound care.

Use only as advised by your doctor.

• Before a procedure: After shaving the operation site, wet the area with water. Apply the solution with sterile gauze dipped in water for 2 minutes, make a lather and wash it off.
• For surgical hand cleaning: Wet the hands. Pour 5 ml onto each palm, spread evenly and rub for at least 2 minutes without adding more water. Clean the fingernails, add a little water to make a lather, then rinse thoroughly under running water.
• For topical use: Clean the affected area, apply the solution, then leave it uncovered or cover it with a sterile bandage.

• Formulated as a 10% aqueous solution.
• For external use only.
• Described as virtually non-stinging and non-irritating to skin, wounds and mucous membranes.

• Uncommon: rash or difficulty breathing.
• Rare: itching or skin burns.
• Other reactions may include skin irritation, sensitivity, pain, swelling or redness.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth.
• Do not use if you are allergic to povidone-iodine or any ingredient in the solution.
• Do not use if you have or have had thyroid problems, or if you are taking lithium for depression.
• Talk to your doctor before use if you have kidney problems or broken skin caused by burns.
• Use with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
• Not recommended for children below 2 years of age. Safety and effectiveness in older adults have not been established.
• Tell your doctor about all medicines you take and before stool, thyroid or urine tests, as the solution may affect test results.
• Stop use and contact your doctor immediately if you have severe burns, deep open wounds, serious skin reactions, or swelling of the mouth, lips or face with breathing difficulty.
• If swallowed accidentally or used in excess, contact your doctor or visit a nearby hospital.
